  • James Louw and his advisory board that has a wealth of experience in community development directs this organisation with a management, that runs its day to day affairs.
  • James Louw networks with some of the finest development organisations locally and globally to put Jireh at the cutting edge of Social Development in Mitchell's plain and surrounding townships.
  • Currently James is giving input to several community organisations in the townships as to effectively address needs in the different areas.

  • Designed the Jireh Centre for the Community, opened in 1997.
  • Took delegates and was invited to Wheaton Illinois to Dupage county, Chicago USA. Viewed different programmes of community upliftment covering child abuse, youth development, cancer wellness. Also visited various departments of Justice: Y.W.C.A, Churches and also downtown Chicago.

  • James is respected as a life coach in mentoring people from 0-hero. He believes in principles of governance.
  • James focuses on corporate governance and gives input to several boards on Corporate Social Investment as to how companies can better invest in the needs of communities.
  • James is well travelled and on a regular basis looks at different models of development world wide to better implement programs of upliftment in South Africa.
