Jireh Community Projects is an N.G.O. Non Governmental Organisation founded in October 1989 by James Louw, Social Entrepeneur and CEO of JIREH SA. Jireh is based in Mitchell's Plain 25 Kilometres from the beautiful city of Cape Town in South Africa. Mitchell’s Plain is a sprawling township built for people of colour with a population of approximately 1.5 million people, comprising of about approx. 40+ suburbs. Over the two decades Jireh has trained thousands of unemployed people ranging from 16 years to 60 years of age in the field of computer literacy skills, sewing; garment and curtain making as well as job-creation skills.
