Welcome to Jireh SA

Jireh is an N.G.O based in Portlands, Mitchell’s Plain in the Western Cape,  has a track record of having major community involvement. Jireh won the President’s Award of R35, 000 in 1997 from Nelson Mandela for Community Development. Jireh’s focus is education, skills training and community development. Jireh has
featured on National television, in newspapers, on the radio and at exhibitions. Jireh has trained over 12000 people with skills since 1989.

OUR TARGET GROUP: 18 – 35 YEARS

Jireh does not turn people away; people are drawn to our centre aged 16 – 60 years. Impacting the unemployed with business skills, computer literacy, job interview skills, doing their CV’s and SMME business support and youth advisory referral services are the core of our services to the community. However we serve youth from 16 to adults of 60. As the need arises.
